Observation

Well, obviously we cannot beat them.

So, what can we do?

It may be time to think and reflect on the present moment reality. End resistance, end the fighting, end the bitter thoughts and posts about what they are doing and not doing.

I have written and read posts for at least a couple of years that are angry and frustrated. Some offer false hope and some are hopeful. Some are quite compassionate and intelligent.

Yet, they are always only versions of stories brought to us by newspapers and television that always focus on that which divides.

Right down the middle.

Our elections are 51% to 49%, if we are lucky to have that much spread.

We divide ourselves by skin color (white or color), political affiliation (democrat or republican), sex (male or female), religion, life philosophy. Each day there seems a new way to identify and divide.

There are vaxxers and antivaxxers, choice and pro-life, science and science deniers...

Love and peace are stress free.

Imagine a world where there are no enemies. Recognize that each enemy we have is almost always created in our own minds. Many or most of the fears we have never come to pass.

It is time to change this in our own lives, and it is easy as what is often called surrender.

I could end this with a quote from someone we all admire or revere, but the simple truth that all mystics would agree on is this:

To deny, resist, complain about, or fight what has already happened is pure madness. It is fighting shadows and ghosts of the past, faded reflections in a dusty mirror.

What is it we want? Do we want "what is" or something different?

If it is something different, what is the power to achieve or acquire that?

There is only one power beyond our own physical mental and muscle that we can rely on. It is the energy of life that we have been given by what many call a creator god or the universe.

Imagine it anyway you desire, it is all the same.

The life energy, the energy that animates matter. The energy that enables hydrogen, oxygen, carbon, and other elements to sing and dance and be and love.

This energy, in the English language, is called love. Not confined to the touchy feely, sexy animal attraction that we all enjoy, though that is always part of it. Love is flesh and blood, wood and sap. Love is also heat and fire, stone and metal, vapor and liquid.

Love is the enormous power that wizards, witches, mystics, and ordinary humans have to change their world. The love that we have can be freely expressed through our own being. The only thing that deters the expression of love is our own ego, our own opinions.
